Hi All,
Thanks for bearing with my questions.

My husband went last week to apply for a social security card. They said he'd get one in a few weeks.
Meanwhile, what do we write on Questions 9a of the I-765: Has the Social Security Administration every officially issued you a Social Security card? We haven't gotten one yet but it seems he will. 
Also, for 9c, does he want the SSA to issue  a Social Security card?
Confused because we don't want to double up.

Just put no for both 

They just want to know if you have a ssn number yet and if you dont do you want them to get it for you. Say no and no. You're fine applying for it yourself like you have.
