My fiance has her interview date in London on May 15th and we currently have a trip scheduled for Amsterdam on June 1st. If/when her K1 visa is approved, is she allowed to travel to other EU countries before she travels to the USA? She isn't planning on moving to America until July and I know she won't be able to leave the USA until she gets her green card.

She can travel anywhere but I'm not sure about entering the usa because if she does they may use her k1 visa upon entry. Starting her 90 days. Correct me if I'm wrong

Our trip to Amsterdam will be before she enters the USA on a K1 visa. Once she enters the USA she won't be leaving the country until she gets her green card!

Than you're fine :) enjoy !

Apply for advanced parole (travel) and work authorization along with the greencard. Both are free when accompanying AOS application. She will be approved in 3-4 months to work and also leave the US (and return)  instead of waiting on the greencard which could take a year to get.

Oh that's very good to know. She'll be moving here in July and we'd like to go back to the UK for Christmas so we will apply for AP then. Thank you!

Marry as quickly as possible because your wait time does not start until your 3 applications are in. Commonly called AOS/EAD/AP. (Adjustment of Status/ Employment Authorization Document/ Advanced Parole.) Pay for AOS and EAD/AP get processed for free.

Yes! After my fiance's K1 was approved in argentina, we stayed there for 3 months then traveled to Europe and toured around Europe en route to the US. He entered two weeks ago and we got married this weekend. Go wherever you want before entering the US on the K1 :)
