Help with adjustment of status

I’m from the UK residing in the US currently on an opt F1student visa. I’m adjusting my status as my partner and I are getting married. I’m completely lost on what I need exactly such as what specific forms, payments , evidence etc! 

Just wondering if anyone has been through this process that could offer some guidance. It would be much appreciated!!

As a summary of what you will read in the guides listed above, you will need:

• Petition I-130 filled out by the US Citizen and I-130A filled out by the spouse applying for AOS;  fee $535
• AOS I-485 filled out by the spouse applying for AOS with I-864, affidavit of support; fee $1225= $1140 + $85 biometric fee, both in one check
• I-765 or EAD for employment authorization, free when sent at the same time with the package
• I-731 for AP, travel authorization also free
• G-1145 for e-notifications for each application, optional

It is best to do 2 different checks for the fees listed above and have packages maybe in folders to separate them from each other with the supporting documents.

If the same document is needed multiple times in different applications, you need to add a copy in each  application.

For the evidence, read carefully the instructions for each form and you should be okay, it i hard to give you a list as each case is different.
