ead expedite

hi lovely  people,I call uscis April  3rd  to expedite  my ead based  on job offer,4 days ago  I check  my case history  it stated  on 04/04/2018 your case request  was completed  and was assigned  to  an officer for responses. but  I didn't  received  any calls or email  from them to fax  any  documents,or am I going  to  get a  letter In the mail to fax them my documents?

Have you register for informe mail delivery? I would do that and check if there is anything coming from USCIS to your mail, otherwise call USCIS and check what the current status really is (level 2 support).

Did they give you any Referral Number when you placed your request to expedite?...

Ok. When I requested to expedite my EAD, i got...nothing. The same as you - neither e-mail, nor regular mail. So I called again, in 5-6 days and placed another request. The next day I got an email, asking me to fax a proof of my job offer pending.with a fax number.

 

With my son it was different - his request to expedite was "heard" from the first try. But he got a regular mail in 5 days. The same - they wanted him to fax a proof of a job offer.

After everything was faxed it took about 7-10 days to receive our EAD cards

 

So, I'd advise to wait couple more days and if still nothing, when try again.

Hey! What number did you call? Is 1 (800) 375-5283 the correct number? Also, did you ask to talk to a tier 2 officer? My EAD expires very soon and I am going to try to get it expedited. What exactly did you ask the officer on the phone?

yes that's the correct  number, no .I only talked to  the level  one officer that I need to  expedite my EAD  and she collect my info base on job offer.

omg... what options did you select to even be able to speak to someone?! None of the menu options work for lol

at first press 1 for English, then it ask if you have petition pending  with uscis press 2,then it ask if you  have  I receipt  number  press  2 for no ,then it will transfer  to  customers service

Thanks! I was actually able to talk to someone who sounded very nice (lol I did not expect that). I am now waiting to hear back from USCIS again about sending in potential evidence (I argued for expedited EAD due to financial hardship).

@Junior818 You've been super helpful! A few last questions... did you fax the documents or mail them? Also, did you add a cover letter or something?
