When did you request the expedite? Usually here people post about trying to expedite their EAD or AP but I don't remember anybody coming back to tell us if they got it.

I did one through my Senator's office nearly 3 weeks ago now. Then I did one over the phone on Friday. They requested 'evidence of job offer' within a few hours - I thought I was hallucinating. I faxed it over immediately but, of course, there is no indication of whether it was received or not.

I sent a letter 2 weeks ago requesting my EAD to be expedited with all the proof I could gather but I haven't heard anything so far, and no updates to my case status online.  Do you know if they at least send you notification if they deny your request?

Did you send the letter after speaking to them? I can see new info regarding the expedite online under "case history", including a 'response' from them requesting evidence.

Nothing since I faxed that evidence, however.

No, my EAD is from VAWA so I can't get any information over the phone, I had to mail my request in.

I submitted my RFE for i-485 application in Feb this year. Since I don't have social security number, I don't have job offer yet. But my wife needs my SSN to file the tax return of this year. Can this be the reason to speed up the process?

Actually no, you guys can always send in the tax returns with a w7 application (that's for persons without SSN).

Hi, was wondering how it turned out for you? Were you able to expedite?
