Hello everyone. Im from philippines. Just got my case number. Do i need to wait for my eligiblity letter before scheduling my interview and medical?? Me and my fiance would like to start paying my visa but im being hesitant coz i think eligibilty letter is needed for the interview in the embassy. Hope anyone can answer me. Thank you

No po, you do not need to wait for a packet 3 at all as long you have your MNL#. The packet 3 is a myth for the Philippines and will not come, and you will not receive a elegibility letter from the embassy either. So go ahead pay the visa fee, do medical, and CFO.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

 

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.
