Usually your guardian will be ask to step out if there are sensitive topics.

or  If you are not comfortable to answer it, ask the doctor that if its possible it will be just you and her. Or give her signs you are not comfortable about it. Usually they will get a cue about it.

Is the medical exam a PI thing?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

It is done at St. Lukes,  a cracker box little building where people go to pay US prices for Philippines doctors.

They also conduct medical exams for people going to New Zealand and Australia.

All medical interviews are conducted there

Just when you think you have TDS eradicate,  a new case shows up.

I know where they do them but had never come across this before, well except in the most unusual circumstances.

Yup they do ask about scars, especially if they look like self harm temp.  And reason for annulment can be a cause for further review.

If you had an abortion will also get you a pych exam medical

Now of days if you reported smoking weed you get extra exam.  It used to be automatic lifetime ban, but seems they have relaxed it

I don't know.   Abortion is illegal in the Philippines.

It's a Philippines thing (at least as far as I'm aware) with the Psych evaluation and only going to the one medical building in Manila. I think she will have to go through another agency as well before they allow her to fly out of the country.
