Wonder what you would say if a friend of yours told you they had met someone for a few days and were getting married?

Wow thats awsome man i wish you the best too. Im sure the process will take some time and im willing to get through it.

The video hours that we spent together was a really nice thing to have. I remember back in the day it was all text and email. If it wasnt for video chat i dont think i could have gotten to know her as well for sure.

Some peoples negetivity is just mind blowing somtimes.

One ploy often mentioned is tell her than you can not bear to be away from her for so long so you are going to give up your job and move over there...

Thanks for the advice. But Are yall serious? She lives in another country thats why i am here. I have 12 days vacation at the moment and can only feasably visit her 1 time a year.

Are you suggesting that I visit her once a year for 3 years then marry her?

I posted here for the process info and not for decision making advice whats best for me morally. I think im a pretty good judge of character.

How many times have you met your over seas fiancee before marrying him her? The requirement is once within 2 years correct? Is there an amount of time frame?  And have 90 days to wed.

Btw...if this girl is faking and insincere she should be in hollywood with an oscar award. I just dont believe that her and I are not being authentic. Im pretty much past teenage infactuations.

Man dont let negatif comment reach you , some people spend years together and when they get maried they ended up spliting while some people spend so litle time together and their mariage last for the rest of the life , Go a head man I wish you all the luck , when it come to evidence you just need proof that you met once in the last 2 years , some people got aprouved while spending only days together

We thought the same thing, we met the requirements by meeting once. No problem. Talked several times a day, texted constantly, wasn't concerned. My fiance was questioned heavily about how he knew he wanted to marry someone after only 2 week visit. We were stuck in AP for 14 weeks and our k1 petition was returned to the US.

Different countries have different ways of viewing these short meetings. I totally get the expense, the vacation from work issue, that you feel you know each other, but the consulate may see it a different way.

The 90 days isn't to see if you want to get married and get to know each other better. You should know that already.

After our petition was returned we waited until 4th visit to increase our chances of cr1 success instead of just getting married right away.

Vietnam used to have very high k1 approvals....150+ a month, but if you look at their monthly totals they are decreasing like every other country and the past few month they have been at 40-50 so a huge decline in visa issuance there too.
