Hey guys, I am just checking if my case is normal and if there is anyone else going through this also...

 

I applied for the removal of conditions on my 2yr conditional marriage based GC in NOV of 2016 and last action I remember taken was biometrics... I already applied for citizenship based on 3year rule.

My extension letter is expired and I wanted to travel, should I take an infopass? Is it normal to take this long? Thanks!!

Yes your case is normal at this time. My wife just got her 10 year card we filed October of 16 and she was approved March 27th of 18.  You should be seeing it soon . No interview for us on this one. Be patient a little longer. See time line for dates.

Absolutely normal especially if you filed at California Service Center. At the moment they’re barely touching some October 2016 filers though September 2016 seems to match the processing time. Again since you already filed for naturalization, there’s a great chance your I-751 petition will be sent to your local field office to be adjudicated together with your N 400 on same day of your N 400 interview. With that being said you won’t receive your green card as well even when they currently adjudicate November 2016 filers. You’ll have to use I-551 stamps as LPR evidence until you naturalize.

Adjustment of Status From F-1 Visa.

8/14/2014: Mailed AOS package: I-130, I-485, I-765.

8/18/2014: Accepted in Chicago. Transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

8/21/2014: Received NOA 1. I-130, I-485, I-765 in mail.

Yes, schedule and infopass appointment to get the I551 stamp for travel while you are waiting for the 10 yr GC and N400 interview.  Otherwise, yes, you are in the current processing window for CSC I751s.
