Where can I find the priority dates currently in process for immediate parents?

I looked at https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin/2018/visa-bulletin-for-april-2018.html and there is no information for parents.

There are no priority dates as there are no limits of visas for immediate relatives.

Have you spoken to your parents about medical insurance?  Many Canadians, with their socialized medicine, go in to sticker shock at the price of health care in the US.  When discussing whether my father wanted to move with me to the US, the cost of the health care shocked him.

Good luck

Hi guys,  I have dual citizenship in US and Canada.   My parents and my brother (younger than 21) only have Canadian citizenship.

Since I have been living in Canada, do I first need to move to the US before I can apply to immigrate my parents?

If I apply to immigrate my parents to US, approximately how long it will take between filing to them getting the permanent residency?

And will my brother be immigrated as their dependent children and getting a permanent residency as well?

Canada is particularly hot on US Domicile so lets say you have that sorted then about 14 months, you will also need the income/capital to sponsor them.

Brother is a separate issue, 20 years or so if you Sponsor, quicker would be if your Parents do once they have immigrated.

You can't enter the US on a b visa as a USC. Something is amiss..

Good find.  Something does not match here.

Do you have a source for this requirement for filing for taxes??  I don't see it on USCIS.

Dude, you MUST file taxes, no matter where you live, USA, Canada or planet Mars. It's the law you must follow as a US citizen. But wait, how did you become a USC if you were trying to adjust from expired B1/B2 to F1 two years ago?

wow you guys are thorough.    That was a question I posted on behalf of someone else....

so, for immediate relative, my parents would get the greencard immediately?  how long does the processing take?

Oughta stick to one personality.  Confusing the heck out of everyone here by posting for a B2 entrant and an F1 reinstatement. If posting for someone else, say so without phrasing posts such as "I entered US on a B visa". Or better yet, have that someone create an account and posts questions on their own.

Yes, we tend to be thorough.

OP,  Since you are so confused, you really need an attorney to assist you. Someone posting such basic questions repeatedly is unlikely to be able to follow through with the paperwork properly.

GET RIGHT WITH THE IRS!!!! You are unlikely to owe taxes but you MUSST do the paperwork. DUH!!!

I am constantly amazed at the level of detail regarding a case that is provided by someone posting "for a friend". In this example, the poster was able to provide the names and dates of all forms filed. Not just on this forum but on the "other" (less helpful) immigration forum. The amount of time it must have taken for the "friend" to provide all those details to the poster and for the poster to create an account here, type it all up here, then copy and paste it elsewhere (after creating an account elsewhere), and to add to the posts on both sites two months later...the "friend" could have created his own account here and posted it himself in a tenth of the time.

Were you also posting for this or another friend when you asked about STEM degrees and TN visas last summer and when you asked about the procedure to bring a spouse to Canada?

Please don't waste our time. People here give their own time at no cost to you to answer genuine questions. Don't abuse the generosity. If you have a genuine question, please post it.

Yeah I love when someone posts for their "friends". Amazing how many "friends " are unable to use internet on their own especially when it comes to really important matters (like immigration). I always wonder what those posters are ashamed of...

Easy as Sunday morning; But, you must have "Domicile" in he States, income to sponsor all and 1 year.
