I just got my interview notification for 08:45 of December 31st in SA! Do you know if SA administers same-day oaths, or are ceremonies being scheduled again? I live in Austin so I was wondering whether I could have an Austin ceremony.

Ha! I am in the exact same situation. Living in Austin, TX scheduled similar time/date in San Antonio. Would be great if San Antonio does same day oath ceremonies! When did you applied?

Hi, I live 45 minutes away from CC and I had my interview in San Antonio August 12th, I've been put in line for oath, the IO asked me if I want to do it in San Antonio once my I751 is approved or Corpus? I said Corpus since its closer, but unfortunately the courthouse its not doing oaths for now, they will update the calendar January 4th I wish I would have known this before I sad anything, I would have picked San Antonio 😢

Yea, it is unfortunate. I called the courthouse in CC as well, and they told me they will update their calendar January 4th 2021. Is there a way to contact USCIS to have the oath ceremony in San Antonio? I have been calling the USCIS number, but it keeps getting answered by the automated voice prompt. It is kinda frustrating. The officer in charge didn't give me an option of taking the oath in San Antonio, I would have opted for that option.

Yeah they made it way difficult to get a hold of anyone over the phone, try messaging them through uscis account. I was thinking about that the other day, but I'm afraid they will tell me to wait for the courthouse to start doing oaths. In case you make it to contact them and they decide to let you go to San Antonio would you mind letting me know ?

My application was filed August 10th, so this has been rather quick. Checking the courts' websites for naturalization ceremonies, there are only 2 judicial (?) ceremonies in SA on December 2nd with the USCIS office stated as address, and no naturalization ceremonies scheduled elsewhere (such as the Austin Central Library), so I am confident that SA field office might be hosting same-day oath ceremonies since these interviews seems to be on the first half of the day on 12/31... Hoping!

Yes, crossing fingers as well.  👍

It seems that with COVID-19, we might have another wave and another showdown of everything. And getting delayed another 3-4 months after a successful interview, it doesn't seem fun.

I think this is only for court based ones: http://www.txnd.uscourts.gov/naturalization-ceremony-schedule Does that mean they also do non-court one? I thought court was needed only if you want to change your name or things in the like.

Hey the courthouse updated their calendar, nothing until 31st of January, I called uscis and explain to them my situation, they will call me back within a week. Call them and explain your case I am sure 100% Corpus won't be doing oath with Covid cases surging in South Texas

Wow! How did you get across to USCIS? please kindly let me know. Anytime I call, it is always the automated machine that answers. I will like to give USCIS a call tomorrow. Thanks for the update, really appreciate it. Also keep me posted on what USCIS says and I will keep you posted as well.

Just say infopass and the automated system will connect you with an agent, make sure you write down your address, the case number because they will ask you that, and then tell them what's your situation. I told them I don't need a name change the IO in San Antonio wanted to do me a favor and not travel back there 2hrs for 15 minutes oath thats why she placed me in C.C and the agent said that she understands and she will have tier 2 call me within a week to see if we can resolve this. Good luck man let me know how it went

Hey y’all, sorry to bust in, but my wife is about to apply at the end of the month here in San Antonio under the three year rule. The current processing times are showing 9-13 months, was that accurate for y’all, or shorter or longer?

Mine was 6 months, luckily for me bio was early March, and then the covid started to slow down I had my interview in August. Now with covid numbers going up I don't know how long will it take. Good luck

Not sure if I am going to believe it is accurate at all. It have been stuck at February since end of September without any updates on my case. I called a PA senator, filed a service request over the phone and sent a message to the USCIS through my online account without luck.
The reason I did all of that is that my local office have been scheduling interviews for others but haven’t touched my application yet!!

Yes, San Antonio does same day Oath Ceremony if you live in SA and Austin area. I had my interview yesterday Dec 10 at 8a.m and was surprised when I was asked if I could wait till 2pm to have my Oath Ceremony.

Goodluck to everyone.

Wow! Hopefully you get scheduled soon. I called USCIS as well today and the officer was nice enough to open a case for me concerning the delay in scheduling an oath ceremony . However, later this evening I got  a response from USCIS San Antonio office via email per the case opened on my behalf. I was told they are waiting for  a date from the court  in order to proceed with the oath ceremony. So, as it stands no oath ceremony for folks in the corpus christi area until the court is back. Do you have the link to where the new court date opening schedule is?
