My Oath Ceremony is on Feb 6!

I started my application at end of September and I will be a citizen on Feb 6. I would say that is way faster than many other districts like Houston.

The weirdest thing is, my "Estimated waiting time" on the website is 3 months right now, but I have my Oath next week :))))

Good luck to all San Antonio fillers.

Had interview today and got approved. The online status has yet to reflect this change. Now the wait starts to get scheduled for the oath-taking.

Thanks so much! Our experience was very similar.

That's great! Did you get a status update on myuscis about the interview approval? My status hasn't changed yet. Although I was given a paper saying I was approved. My online status is still stuck at "Interview Scheduled"

Ok sounds good. Mine has had no change. It is still showing "Interview Scheduled". The IO said that it would take 24 hours for the online update to come through.  It is past 48 hours at this point so it is mystifying.

Congrats!!

Hey, did they schedule your oath taking ceremony?

I see that one San Antonio court ceremony in late March is now cancelled in the txwd calendar.

Yes we were scheduled and then canceled 2 days later :(  But I'd rather not go out in a big crowd right now and have passport potentially get stuck because people can't work etc. anyway.

Hello Everyone,
Had my naturalization interview on September 17, 2020 in San Antonio TX, and it was approved immediately. However, I have been waiting to be scheduled for oath ceremony since then. Although I reside in Corpus Christi, TX, the field office for my interview was San Antonio. Is there anyone that interviewed in San Antonio, TX experiencing similar situation?

Hi, I live 45 minutes away from CC and I had my interview in San Antonio August 12th, I've been put in line for oath, the IO asked me if I want to do it in San Antonio once my I751 is approved or Corpus? I said Corpus since its closer, but unfortunately the courthouse its not doing oaths for now, they will update the calendar January 4th I wish I would have known this before I sad anything, I would have picked San Antonio 😢

I just got my interview notification for 08:45 of December 31st in SA! Do you know if SA administers same-day oaths, or are ceremonies being scheduled again? I live in Austin so I was wondering whether I could have an Austin ceremony.
