Hi I’d like to share my experience with you folks. I live in Corpus Christi and just completed my interview for my n400 the day before yesterday, 12/15/20(March 2020 filer).
The interview was quick which lasted about 10 mins - and approved on the spot, but wasn’t lucky enough to do same-day oath ceremony. I’m not sure what’s criteria for doing that. The officer told me that I should be hearing back within 150 days, but she also told me that I could be doing my oath next month. She did mention that right now everything is done at San Antonio Office due to Covid. As I walked out, the security officer asked me if I did the same day oath and told me that there was a guy who was selected for it. So I’m not sure who gets to do the same day oath.. I guess you just have to be lucky 🤷🏻‍♀️

Any update on your ceremony?

Interview scheduled for September 20th in San Antonio... A year too late than what I expected.

Does San Antonio do same day oath ceremony?

Congrats!

Based on others' responses, San Antonio does same day ceremonies. You're likely to get one if your interview is before 11am

Hello everyone

any interview update?

Applied on October last year and still waiting for an interview

Your next milestone would be biometrics.

I applied in June 2020, and my biometrics happened July 1st 2021. And interview appointment september 20, 2021..

San Antonio is the slowest service center of all.

My journey is finally over. I did have same day oath ceremony because my interview was early morning at 8. They do not do same day oath if appointment was later in the day.

Oath happened at 2:00. They started checking people in at 1:30.

Congrats :)

one day will post a post like yours.

It was pretty straight forward.. There was metal detector, and had to take off coat, belt and shoes.

I answered one question wrong on when was constitution written, I said 1776.. but  other that that I passed.

They did not need more information. Also staff was more welcoming and making jokes at times. Nothing intimidating that CBP usually do. There was finger printing just for index finger in both hands.

Once you pass, they will try to schedule you for oath I guess (maybe they do only for morning appointment people who are doing same day oath. but it's worth a try  to get a schedule that fits you.
