Yes everything was pretty quick, I got there as per letter 30 earlier but I went just in case little bit earlier 😅 as I was exiting the car a guy was asking people are you here for oath? We all went 40 minutes earlier, the entire process was like 20 minutes, it was about 35 people no pictures inside no nothing, I asked the lady about oath in Cc she said there is nothing she can do especially if you wait for a month, but she said if you wait more than 120 days then contact them.

Congrats! I am happy for you. At least you have one less thing to worry about. Appreciate your response and tips all the time. All the best in your future endeavors. Mine will be 120 days next week from the date  my interview was approved and scheduled for oath ceremony. Hopefully after the 120 days, I will be called to San Antonio for Oath ceremony, just like you.

Hey yes I have a lady who got the same email, she had her ceremony on 25th, but she called today and the IO told her to come anyways. Give them a call tomorrow and see what they are going to say, the IO said it might be a glitch

Thanks. Did you file online, or file using lockbox? I filed online and looks like my case is still stuck at E-Filed Case Processing Section location, and did not move to San Antonio yet.

I filed online. I’m filing under 3 year rule with approved roc. Not sure if that matters. How about you?

I had interview in San Antonio on Feb 23rd, recommended for approval and told to come in the afternoon on the same day for oath taking ceremony. However, in a few hours I got a call from the officer who interviewed me informing that the oath taking ceremony was cancelled due to some IT system failure and their inability to print naturalization certificates. Apparently the issue was more serious as they according to other posts here they cancelled ceremonies not only on 23rd but on 24th as well.

So, I am curious if there have been any ceremonies today (on 25th) and also how long it takes for the oath ceremony to be scheduled after interview nowadays.

I wouldn't use IT system failure against them at all. It happens. When I got my green card, I traveled to Montreal to get it processed. I requested embassy for same day pickup. They tried but their system failed. I had to spend one more night there, but they made it next day.

I did not mean to use it against them. I just said that apparently the issue was more significant than a minor IT system failure as they had to cancel ceremonies for multiple days in a row. Overall, my experience on the interview was very positive: the office looked super organized, applying covid cleaning protocols everywhere (I saw how thoroughly the guards at the entry were were cleaning the xray machine) and the officers were friendly. So, I have really nothing to complain about. Just waiting right now for the new ceremony date :)
