Hi,

I’m hoping to gather people applying in my local office to see how the process is going. I was scheduled for a biometrics appointment and now I’m wondering if our office takes walk-ins or not.

Does anyone know? Does anyone wanna share local experiences?

Ivy

I'm applying for AOS from F1 through marriage at this location. I'm not sure if there's just one in SA since Texas is so huge but the one on 281. I did biometrics there and they're all very friendly. Lasted all of 10 minutes after I went into the biometrics waiting room. I know of people that went hours earlier and one, a day early but can't speak for say a week early.

F1 (graduated) with pending AOS after marriage! ^_^

Update: Did biometrics 1 day after the letter showed up online (2 weeks in advance). They said they will take it any day before 3pm, regardless of the interview date. I came around 2pm figuring it won't be crowded and it was not. I was done in 10 minutes. :)

Thanks, everyone.

Any one got interview letter from San Antonio FO recently?   wondering how long its taking to process

Hi there - I had my interview in SA on April 11, my biometrics was done in an Austin support center on February 15 further to my on-line application on January 14. My oath ceremony is May 24 in SA. I'm amazed at how quick it has happened, hope same goes for you.

Hi There,

Good to hear.  Thats pretty quick.   I am dec 2017 filer, and stuck waiting for interview.

Did you apply as spouse/3 years  or employment/5-years ? Mine is employment based 5-years.

Hi there, I applied as a spouse. My green card expires in October so I'd always decided to go this route rather than keep renewing GC. I'm still amazed how quickly it's gone by. Doesn't seem any rhyme or reason on anyone's timeline though for people like you who are still waiting?!?!?! Good luck and I hope you get an interview soon!

Jane,  Thanks for quick reply.  I am really glad that your case is moving fast.  But it seems N-400 processing based on Spouse is faster compared to employment based 5-years one.

I am hoping some movement in San Antonio :) soon.
