Send email to the US embassy in your country explain. Maybe they can extend your visa.  Contact embassy

Did you try this, @joygrace? I skimmed through the thread and realize you did not reply to this.

Usually, for medical emergencies, the U.S. Embassy in your country would help you extend your visa.

Perhaps you should try that before reapplying for K1?

If you had replied to this suggestion and it was impossible, I'm sorry.

my fiancce dont have a parents and his other family have there own family actually his family rely to him even now a lot of his family own him money but did not yet pay..so thats why my fiance is so dissappointed coz that is the only he can get me a ticket..but until now his trying see even if tomorrow in the last day of my visa i can still fly..😢😢😢

I'm flying to the US this May 1. My plane ticket cost $800 one way via Cathay Pacific. I'm a Filipina, and if I'm in your shoes, I would stop at nothing to go see my finace who needs me so much especially I already have the visa.

My thinking would be $800 is P40,000. I would go get loans with high interest if I have to or sell some properties or ask my parents to sell some properties just so I can get the money! My fiance needs me!

You got through the hardest part (getting a visa). Don't let something else stop it. If he can't do it, you have to find a way.

Well, now, contact the US Embassy and ask if your visa can be extended.

P.S. I'm coming to the US as CR1. I can't imagine not being at my husband's side if he got into an accident and getting a surgery. Especially if I can go, and just a mere plane ticket cost is hindering me.

Okay, hold up. I understand that you are explaining what you would do in OP's position, but that's a bit rash. Do try to remember that you cannot be a public charge in U.S. or it will be more difficult in the long-run for you and your partner.

Love is love, but we all have to play by the immigration authority's rules.

I don't know the all of the circumstances so I hope I am not seen as rude. But if you don't, perhaps since you're planning to file again, it would be a good time to get a job or try to get an extra income so you're better prepared financially and perhaps, doesn't happen again.

This is becoming a regular feature of this forum - USCs who can't afford tickets for their Filipina fiancées:

How is he going to feed and house the two of you for months until you can work if he can't even afford a few hundred for a plane ticket? Or can't you buy your own ticket? Maybe he will need to move to the Philippines where at least you can work.

This is a COLD FEET CASE!...
