Or don't want someone to come so they tell them they don't have the money.   Tickets are fairly cheap from Manila to USA easily can find a round trip or one way for less than $1000.

When I see stories like this, this is my first thought

yeah maybe you will think like that but after we file the petition theres a lot of circumstances happen,he loses his job and his business due to his previous accidents..its difficult to say but if you are in a relationship you can feel if it is theres somethings going on with your partner but still the same thats why we are thinking of being together other way around he will stay here or i will go there we just worry about this visa that nearly expire..if it will not affect the petition for us to reapply due to our visa expired..😢😢😢

so sorry for this happening to you

but how can he afford a lawyer and not the ticket ?

how will he afford to reapply and buy a ticket ?

how will he afford all your expenses and the AOS?

one of the Phillipine women here came on her K1 and then was scared to marry and returned to her home

then decided going back was a mistake and she went back to the embassy and they issued new K1 visa

so try contacting the embassy as they may be able to reissue with a new medical exam

It's very sad that you are about to lose not only the K1 visa that you both waited so long in getting approved, you or your BF wasted the visa fee, medical fees, etc and time which is money too. Now he will have to pay for another K1 visa again?

For how long has he been in the hospital? And if he knew he would not be able to buy you the ticket, why did you not save money to buy the ticket? If he is not working, his family can not help and you don't have savings it seems, how he plans to pay for food and stuffs when you live in US?  Remember you are not gonna be able to work for a couple months until AP is approved so... Who is gonna pay the bills?

You mention previous accidents, did he have more than 1 accident?

How many accidents did he have in total?  And he had another accident just before you were gonna travel? The whole thing does not make sense to me. Sorry to say it. Good luck to you.

Make sure when you get a ticket it is a return ticket.

I routinely see $600 RT fares from JFK to Cebu.  My last trip in March I paid $645.  I was able to get a $200 RT from MSP to JFK so all in I was $850.

YMMV

After all the hardship and long wait and longing and excitement from the notion of finally being together, you both cannot afford a ticket? My fiance would do anything in his power to get me here, be it borrow some money from his parents or worse sell his soul to the devil to make sure we'll be together. I'll do anything to buy myself a ticket, work two jobs, sell my stuff, borrow some money from my parents. But again it's just me. Good luck OP!

I checked on Priceline for a one way flight from Manila to JFK on April 8, and it costs less than $1000, the cheapest by China airlines costs $888. This is much cheaper than the cost for the re-application. I don’t think your and your fiancé’s financial situation would improve significantly in just a few months based on the story told if you plan to reapply in the timeframe.
