Desperately need help!!:crying:

 

My husband is applying I-130 for me now. I would like to apply I-485 at the same time.

I'm currently a student with holding F1 visa.

Should I submit a photocopy of my student visa and my I-20?

The reason I'm asking this because I've known it from a friend that she came to the US with K1 visa and she was asked to submit a photocopy of her K1 visa approval letter. But I couldn't find any information about what should F1 visa holder submit with I-485.

An I-94 would be proof of legal entry; a visa isn't proof of anything other than having a visa.

Just follow the guide and instructions. Be sure to carefully read all instructions for every form.

Be careful with advice from unvetted individuals who came on a K-1....the process for them is a little different than somebody who came on an F-1 visa.

Since you are filing i485, it’s better to read i485 instructions.

No. 4 on Page 9 and No. 7 on Page 11 of i485 instruction clearly answer your questions which is yes, you have to include what you have mentioned.
