Update: my biometrics for my I-90 has been scheduled for 4/30. The letter finally appeared on my DHS account

Edited by Ketsuban

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Update: received a response to my service inquiry. They told me to send it directly to the CSC and request an expedite. I am going to mail it in tomorrow with certified delivery and will skip biometrics so they will close out the I-90.

Did they tell you how long would take them to send you a new one? I wonder how long is "expedite" for the CSC.

My service inquiry changed the date from 4/13 (when I submitted) to 4/18, but it says the same thing as of 4/13 "...was assigned to an officer for response.". hopefully, I hear something soon.

My service request was with an officer from 4/9, I'm not sure when I submitted it but it was a couple of days before that. That date it went to the officer then changed to 4/11 and I finally heard back today.

I don't know how long their expedite will take, they didn't say. I have heard a turnaround time of about 2 weeks from other threads though.

You have to file an I-90 at CSC?  Or some other way?

I have an I-90 filed already, but that's not what they're asking me to do. I have to mail my card with a brief letter describing the issue to a specific officer/desk/whatever located within CSC and also request an expedite based on their error. I have biometrics scheduled for the I-90 I filed, but I will not be going to them now. Seems like the easiest way to "withdraw" :)

Great, I filed an online case request, typographic error etc on the 14th April and this is great news! Thanks, just waiting to hear myself.

This really is great news! I'm also still waiting on a response to my service request - by the way, where do you guys see the status of your service request? I've been checking my USCIS account, but there's no mention of that e-request anywhere.

It's on the old case status website under the I-751 case number.

Just got back from UPS. Decided to ship it right to their building with a courier instead of to the PO Box with USPS. Should be there on Thursday and then the waiting game begins.

Thanks guys - I found it! Too many different websites and logins to check your status... I also received a response yesterday to my service request. Unfortunately they told me to file an I-90. Ugh.

That's ridiculous. Why are they telling some of us to send it directly to somebody at CSC and telling others tough ****, file an I-90?

I just received an email from them, and asked me to do the same thing: Mail the incorrect GC and then request to expedite. Are you simply just going to write a letter, or do you know if there is a form to expedite?

Thanks!
