There is a bunch of us who got notification of card mail-out on April 4th. I think it's this batch that have the issue. There was also one person who said they got his birth date wrong.

Not only did they get my resident since date wrong, but they've given it ten years + two weeks of validity 03/15/18 - 03/29/28. Absolutely bizarre. I swear it's meant to be ten years only.

Wrong date

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

I have the same problem. Mine was valid from 03/18/18-03/13/18. Did you file an e-request for a typo error? I am planning to submit my citizenship application, but I am afraid that they might reject it because of this reason!

My resident since date was 2011 and when I did ROC it said 2014. When I applied for citizenship in 2016 I didn't qualify under the 5 year rule anymore.

Did you notify USCIS then? Did you receive a new card? When were you told that you weren't eligible? Is it during a biometric appointment or Interview if you get that far? My "Resident Since" date is also incorrect. I had already submitted N400 application and got a biometric appointment before I received the incorrect card.

I didn't know it was wrong so I didn't notify them. I was told during my N400 interview. The officer said according to the 10 year green card I'm not eligible for citizenship and I showed her my conditional card. She took copies of both and I was eventually approved for oath.

I have the same error as well. Sigh. I’m going to have to look into getting this corrected. I still have my conditional card thank goodness. It could take up to a year to correct? Is there anything they do quickly...

Well at least you won't have to pay for it. Just file I-90 to get the error corrected and explain in a letter why you're exempt for the fee. Good luck.

Hi all, I am posting here what I posted on the October 2016 applicants thread:

Hello everyone,

So I just called USCIS, and was able to talk to someone. I asked him if there will be a problem if I apply for citizenship with my 10-year green card showing an incorrect "residence since" date, and the person I talked to said, there won't be any. Now, I am not sure if this is 100% true, because as you all know, most of the time the CSRs don't exactly know what they are saying, but he did say that I don't need to apply for a replacement card if I am going to apply for citizenship, so as long as I have the document that would show my original approval (aka 2-year conditional green card). He did say, however, that if I am planning to travel, then that is when I actually need to get a replacement card, showing the correct dates. I told him that I don't want any problems along the way, especially being denied and then having to pay to $72++ citizenship fee, and he told me that he understood, and repeated to say that really, there wouldn't be any problems. Anybody else called them today?

Another follow-up:

I just got an email from the e-request that I sent. It says there that they will look into my file and send a new PRC if they see proof that my request (i.e. to correct the residence since and expiration dates) has been approved. It also said there that I can use my current PRC as it is valid.

I am not sure if the PRC they were pertaining to is the 2-year or 10-year card, but either way, it looks like I am covered.
