Update:

I emailed the specialcases email last night asking for updates. I just got an answer: "This issue has not been rectified as yet.  My supervisor has your original inquiry and is working closely with the service center regarding this issue.  I do apologize for any inconveniences this may be causing you."

I would keep at it once a week until they get so sick of you they want it fixed. That's usually how escalations go where I work!

What is the special cases email address? I'd like to email it for any updated. I've sent paperwork to my Senator twice and no response. Not sure what's going on..

Can you try another senator in your state or your congressman? That's terrible that they've not gotten back to you at all.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

Well... After months of getting answers from specialcases that I have to wait for the internal issue to be resolved and that the boss of the woman emailing me had and was reviewing my case. I emailed again last night to finally have the woman emailing to email directly to California service Center. Her response just frustrated me more... The Californian center told her that they have not received my second incorrect GC.. Of course they haven't! I haven't sent it becuase I was waiitng for the specialcases to tell me what to do. When I submitted a request inquiry, I always got a different answer.. Either way, now specialcases is telling me to follow the instructions of the California service Center and send my card requesting to be expedited.. DOESN'T IT SOUND FAMILIAR?? I just don't understand why specialcases does not tell me that I have to send my card... It is being a waste of time.... So now I'm sending tomorrow a similar package I put together back in April when I sent my first incorrect card... Im trying not to be pessimistic, but I might be on this same scenario in couple months. Hopefully at the second try the CSC gets it right... At least now I have experience of knowing what to expect: the CSC will recover my GC and I won't heard anything from them until one day after over a month I'll see some changes on my UScis account.

(I'm sorry for my long and not interesting response, I just need it to take it all out 😅

I reached out to another congressman. Still no response yet. Guess I'll have to call their office again.

😩 This is ridiculous. Its like they're totally winging it (badly) and have no idea what to do. I read today that they changed the service centers the ROC stuff goes to now so I can only imagine they're swamped beyond belief.

Congrats! I'm sure you're relieved that's finally over. We are indeed still waiting on ours, but the citizenship interview is 10/31 so I doubt the card will come before then.

Hey all, so glad I found this thread. I JUST got approved for AoS 2 weeks ago and my GC has our filing date from 2017 on it!!!!!! I am furious. I am not doing RoC obviously but I'm joining this group of I-90 ridiculousness. I made an Infopass for early in the week. I'm not sure if anyone there will be super helpful. I'm preparing to file I-90 and then wait...☹

I didn't had an error on my GC. But ROC got approved in April 2018, but something went wrong with sending the card. So had to file the I-90..lol Glad it is over. But once again good luck to you and everyone else who are still waiting!

Ok thanks. I know nothing about I-90 and freaked out SO much because the processing time is like 4.5-12 months on the USCIS website. Mine seems pretty simple to fix but you just never know with them.

The exact same thing just happened to me. My GC shows "resident since" Aug 2017 which is when they received my i-485. I waited for over a year just to send it back. Is there any updates on your case? Did you end up filing I-90?
