Still waiting. My husband was given a hard time today at a job interview because he had the I-551 stamp instead of the green card even though he explained they're the same thing (plus the letter saying it was extended years!). So annoyed this process is still going. We'll probably get citizenship before the new card is even issued!

I'm happy for you!! Good that you got some info now.

By the way, yesterday I got one of my multiple service inquiries response. They told me to send my GC to CSC with expedite service blah blah blah.. Sounds familiar, right? So far I got a different answer from each place..

Midwest customers email told me to submit an i90

Service inquiry told me to send it to CSC (I won't fall with the same stone)

Uscisspecialcases email is reviewing my case with CSC and they told me that there is an internal issue printing (similar to what they told you)

Hopefully we hear something new next week 😁

Danggg! I hope you hear something good next week!

I just received a call from Sherrod Brown's office. The lady said that she heard back from CSC who told her they do have my card, but they're unable to print right now due to a system issue. They said to her that they anticipate being able to resume printing next week, so she will follow up with them on Monday. It feels so nice to have someone with authority chasing up these people on my behalf!! That's much more information than I'm able to get from them through either service request or emailing the customer engagement center.

This is awesome. That's why a lot of people really tend to contact their Reps and Senators because then USCIS would do something about it.

I got follow-up from the senator's office. USCIS told them that they have re-opened my case, re-approved it and put my card into production. It should be mailed out within the next 2 days. The lady from the senator's office asked me to let her know if I don't have the card after 2 weeks. Nothing has updated on the two USCIS websites yet but I'm super excited :D

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

Congrats!!! Sounds like you will have your correct card pretty soon!

I´m still waiting... Last thing I heard from USCIS Special Cases was on July 25th..2 weeks ago...telling me "Our directorate has been informed that this recall issue is an internal system issue which is causing GC errors. We must correct this issue before reprints occur. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing you. Once the issue is corrected, your GC will be reprinted and mailed to your address on file."  The e-mails come signed, but from the general usicsspecialcases e-amail address. At this point, I´m doubting to get my card. I´ll have to e-mail them AGAIN and then if nothing changes I guess I´ll follow your steps and contact my Senator. This is being a rollercoaster of stress and emotions.

Keep us updated when you received your card. I¨m so happy for you and all of you that have finalized this tidious process. That gives me some hope :)

I wrote to my senator and waited about 3 or 4 weeks before following up. I think they forgot to look into my case or something because they responded right away and from that point on, all communication was spaced about 8 days apart due to them waiting on USCIS to respond to them.

The DHS website updated overnight and this morning I got notification about a new action on my case. Logged in and my card was mailed to me yesterday :D

Also, all of the actions taken on my case generated a bunch of letters. I received two of them yesterday and am sure there will be more.

Congratulations Ketsuban!

I just got a notification of my card is produced on the DHS website after contacting our senator office 3 weeks later. I can tell there's a lot of buracracy in the USCIS, even for the person working in the senator office, it's difficult to get hold of someone accountable in the USCIS and find out what's going on. They have to escalate my case to their congressional supervisor and finally I saw an update this morning. Hopefully I will get my card with correct date soon.

Congratulations!!!!! Can't believe your process finally ended after 5 months dealing with this. I'm so happy for you! This gives me some hope.

I'm still waiting after those promising emails from the uscis special cases 3 weeks ago. I'll take your recommendation and write my Senator. Now I start stressing out that I see that Christmas holidays come and I still don't have my correct card to spend the holidays with my family in Spain.

Can't wait to have this done, fixed and stop dealing with UScis for couple months🤪🤪

Update:

I emailed the specialcases email last night asking for updates. I just got an answer: "This issue has not been rectified as yet.  My supervisor has your original inquiry and is working closely with the service center regarding this issue.  I do apologize for any inconveniences this may be causing you."

What is the special cases email address? I'd like to email it for any updated. I've sent paperwork to my Senator twice and no response. Not sure what's going on..
