Believe09, when did they receive your card at CSC? They got mine on 4/26 and I wonder if they're working in order of receipt or not.

I'm hoping they've worked out the bugs and will send a correct card to you. Otherwise it's just more time wasted!

They got mine on the same date - 04/26. The officer said that the office where we sent it to (Laguna Nigel, CA office) is quite slow, which was why it took them a long time to process it. They might be working on yours, now, too. Did you still not receive any response from the special cases people?

I know, I hope so, too! If it's still wrong, I seriously don't know what else to do anymore. I am thinking of just applying for my citizenship even then, and provide them with all the documents about the recall and explain everything.

Ooh, maybe I might see some movement soon then. I haven't had a response from special cases. The only responses I can get are from Midwest and the service requests and they're just generic "send your card to us" replies over and over no matter what I put in the text field.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Update: I emailed Sherrod Brown's office again today asking for an update to my 6/26 email. This afternoon I got a response from one of his team stating they'd sent an inquiry to USCIS on my behalf. I hope this gets the ball rolling or they can provide a detailed response to them rather than the boilerplate they've been feeding me non-stop.

Just an update - I checked my informed delivery, and it looks like I received two letters from USCIS - my new green card, and it looks like another approval letter (i could see the statue of liberty from the picture). I am kind of confused at this point, why there is another "approval letter," but I haven't really opened it up yet, so I will give you another update once I have checked it out.

Hi everyone. Here is an update: So I just got my new Green Card, and thankfully it has the correct residence since and expiration dates. I am really happy that they finally did it correctly for my case!

I am sure that they are working on a lot of cases now, but they are just incredibly really slow. I would suggest to keep emailing the Customer center midwest and special cases emails, and also try keep sending service requests. I am not sure how they work over there, but with all this experience, I know that they are not being very effective.

I mailed mine back in April to their Laguna Nigel, CA office, even before I have received the recall notice. I had to send a service request in before the recall was made, and it instructed me to send it back to that office of theirs. It took a lot of emailing back and forth, and sending multiple service requests before I got mine back.

I do know some people here received theirs a couple of weeks after they sent it back using the envelope  with the recall notice, and some who are still waiting. There are also some people like me, who have sent it back prior to the recall, and some have received theirs and some who hasn't. Unfortunately, there really isn't a sure timeline to this. :(

Once the issue is corrected, your GC will be reprinted and mailed to your address on file."

Prior to this email, the same person emailed me a week ago telling me that they were going to contact CSC about my case. Hopefully this is true and we all have our GC soon.

Thank you!!! No-- I only received one green card, and oddly another approval letter for my i-751, with the approval date of 07/17/18. But my Green Card has the correct expiration date - which is 10 years after I was approved last March. That was the only odd thing.

I just received a call from Sherrod Brown's office. The lady said that she heard back from CSC who told her they do have my card, but they're unable to print right now due to a system issue. They said to her that they anticipate being able to resume printing next week, so she will follow up with them on Monday. It feels so nice to have someone with authority chasing up these people on my behalf!! That's much more information than I'm able to get from them through either service request or emailing the customer engagement center.

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered

November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

Awesome! When did you mail yours back and to what office? Trying to get an idea of timelines :(

In case you want my timeline, I'm one of the few people who sent their cards back before the recall became public knowledge. Sent a service request and CSC asked me to send it back to them (Laguna Niguel, CA) for correction. It got there on 4/26 and to date I'm waiting for my new card.

At first, whenever I followed up about it, they gave me very specific responses pertaining to my actual situation. After a couple of months, they started responding with generic messages telling me to send my card back with my recall notice to another office. Obviously I can't do that, because they have it at CSC! It became worrying that CSC seemed to have suffered from amnesia. When it became clear after a few more emails and service requests that they were refusing to go back to acknowledging my own situation, I got my senator involved.

You sent your green card back to the Eastern Forms Center in the prepaid envelope, right? Have you emailed the customer engagement center asking them to confirm receipt?

Yeah I think in your case I would hold out and see what the dealio is with their system error. I'll let you know what I hear back from the senator's office.
