Incorrect resident since date

I emailed the specialcases email on Monday because I received a new GC that still shows the incorrect date. No answer yet. In my experience, they take 2 weeks to answer, if they even answer...

I went and checked my cases after avoiding it for a few days. As of yesterday, the I-90 I wrote in a cancelation for says that they've reviewed my biometrics. I don't know what this means or if anything will come of it. I didn't attend either of the two biometrics they scheduled for me due to California taking over at the time.

Hi, could you help me on this? My NOA is 12/28/2016, I just received my ROC 10 year card last Thursday and the "Resident Since" date is wrong which is listed as the date my I-751 got approved aka 06/20/2018. How do I correct this? Please help, I have been waiting for 18 months for this and the pain is still not over

Hi! Some of us tried to fix this typographical error when we received the card. We submitted  a service inquiry thru your UScis account. You can also call the number in the paper your card came glued to. After some of us, submitted a service inquiry and received instructions to send the card to a CSC address, UScis recalled our cards. I've been trying to fix this error since April, and the only thing I have received is a second incorrect CT green card. I would recommend you to submit a service inquiry and follow their instructions. I would rather do what they told me, and have proof that I did what THEY told. 

It seems that they started printing wrong GC again(my new GC included), so I wonder if they will start another recall again.... I don't want to sound negative, but I am very frustrated with them and this process. It is being 3 months dealing with this.

I haven't heard back from the senator's office. I submitted another service request yesterday straight up telling them to send my old card back to me. I never got notice it was destroyed so maybe they still have it.

I hope you hear something new from the service inquiry. I haven't heard from the specialcases email either. It is being 2weeks. I hope to hear from them this week, or I'll submit another service inquiry again... 

Just as an update, I used the incorrect GC to go thru customs. No issues. I was a little scared that the officer will open my passport on the I155 stamp I got since I send the card to CSC and I had to explain my whole story... 

Ketsuban, we should request the UScis to pay for our mental health. Lol. Every day I'm stressed out from this. Now, that my vacations have passed , I can stop worrying as much as before, but still worrying to have this card fix sometime this year!!

IKR!!! I think about it a fair few times a day. I wonder if they're just going to keep my card and I have to get passport stamps every year. Hopefully every time someone opens the service request they can see the many others submitted previously and can use some context to know that THEY are the ones who need to do something, not me.

Yes, THEY are the ones who need to do something. I have kept sending emails and submitting inquiry requests, even though I have the feeling that I´m going to get a generic answer or not answer at all..I´ll wait couple more days, and I´ll call again... Even thought I have the feeling I will get the same answer... I really hope that the card I got was due to the CSC package we had to send, and some how the Recall place is still evaluating our case. At this point, I imagine, dream and hope anything.

I AM SHOCKED! After emailing the specialcases email and waiting for over 2 weeks, and reemailed them again this week. I decided to forward that email to the Midwest center email yesterday night. SURPRISINGLY I got an answer today, which doesn't say much but doesn't seem to be a generic answer ! Telling me that sorry for the inconvenience and that they have requested more information about my case. They stated that they will contact me once they received my details. I'm happy to see some movement... I, think the subject of the email made some effect "Received Green Card after recall. STILL WRONG RESIDENT SINCE Date". 

All of you be strong! I hope this helps them see and further investigate the cases of us that sent the card prior to the recall. 😁

That's great news to have some progress! I'm still waiting too. Which email did they respond to you? The midwest center email or the the special case inquiry?

I emailed Midwest a couple of hours ago after seeing your post. I said something along the lines of I've been waiting a very long time now and is there any way they could look further into this or escalate it up the chain? I'm expecting a canned response again but Jeebus on a pogo stick, it shouldn't be this hard to print a friggin card that THEY told me to send to them for the purpose of reprinting.

So I emailed both Midwest and Special Cases last Friday, and received a reply from the former. They apologized for the "inconvenience," and asked me to be "patient," and that USCIS is trying to working on my case in a "timely manner." It also again, said, that my card will be re-issued and re-sent to me. They didn't say when, but just that it will be...

Another update: I just checked my status via the mydhs account, and it was updated to my old card being destroyed, dated 07/13/18. Seriously, at this point, I am not sure what to expect, given that some of us here got the same status and then still received an incorrect green card... still keeping my fingers crossed.

I got the same response from Midwest, but my MyAccount page still says card recalled as of May 14th
