I am one of those recall group. I sent my GC on May 17 and still nothing is changed in my status....

I see that some people status changed to " We recalled your GC", but I didn't get this message since I mailed mine.

is that normal or maybe they haven't got my GC???

OMG,  that is crazy...

Guys this is what I read about the errors on the 10 years green card after you have received it. I have already mailed my 10 years GC with I-90 forms to Phoenix AZ but some few weeks ago I received a letter from Vermont that I should mail my GC to them for replacement for the error they made on it. So what should I do after I have already mailed to Phoenix

Some of us submitted a service inquiry before there was a recall. we got instructions to send our card to the CSC. Then the recall happened and received the recall letter. In the recall letter, you should see an e-mail account in the case you have already sent your GC to USCIS. The e-mail account instructed us to send the recall letter and a statement letter explaining the details of when and where we have sent our GC prior to the recall. As it is now, I am still waiting for my GC. I started the process of fixing their error early May and I'm still waiting. I would recommend you to e-mail the address in the recall letter just in case they have changed the process for those of us who already sent the card. I have seen many variations from the USCIS on how to proceed, so (in my opinion) I would rather e-mail them and wait to know what they want me to do. At least, you will have proof (USCIS emails) that you did what the USCIS instructed you to.

But that is for citizenship. How do you check your I-751?

For I-751, I checked https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do and I log in it and the latest news was about my 10 year GC is mailed.

dhs.gov is the new site of USCIS. You can check your I751 in the dhs.gov TOO. I am seeing my I-751 case in the dhs.gov site. and the latest update says "we recalled your green card".

My experience with the email mentioned in the recall mail is they respond rather quickly, usually within a day, yet they're just repeating the standard information about the recall process and would not discuss about specific case in the email. I called the 800 number yesterday, and requested to speak to a 2-tier officer. He filed a case inquiry for me to expediate the case , but apart from that, he said there's nothing they can do at this point, and it probably won't be any help to schedule an info pass appointment to check the status...

I mailed my recalled green card to them with tracking number and USPS confirmed they delivered it to USCIS on May 26th. Hopefully we can all see updates later this week or next week. I'm really frustrated. I had a very unfortunate experience back in 2016 when I first got my green card, it was lost or stolen by USPS... I spoke to USCIS supervisors, wrote to senator and did all the things possible but in the end, the only solution was to file a I90 to replace the card and paid another $450!!!

I was very confused at the beginning too. Then I figured out my I-751 was filed by paper so it won't automatically show under my profile in https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/. However, there's a button on the right side, to add a case filed by paper. Put your recipient number, then you will see at least the recall log.

Oh, Thanks. I add my I-751 recipient number and shows that May 14 we recalled your GC.  I mailed my GC to them on May 16.

Just checking in. Still waiting on CSC to do something with my card. Myaccount still says "We recalled your green card", egov says that as of June 8th my service request is with an officer. I just want my fancy schmancy card so that I don't have to think about USCIS every day.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

When I spoke to the tier 2 officer, he mentioned a letter will be sent out to the applicant in 5 days after a service request being submitted. Have you got that in your mail box?

It's really frustrated, I'm checking the status everyday, but still "we recalled your GC".

I always file my requests online and always get a response within about 2 or 3 weeks via email. I'm not sure what process Tier 2 is referring to.
