Well, i fall for this nadra computarized misconception too, we contacted nadra at many levels, Nadra DOESNT issue birth certificates. In islamabad i think it was cda( if i remember correctly), but other provinces it is union council. They do issue computerized ones, they may have dome affliation with nadra to check records but nadra by itself doesnt issue birthcerticates like i found on youtube and google. I fall for that and kept contacting nadra. U may be able to get it by sending ur relative, they also need hospital birthcertificate or letter from someone lady if birth was at hok me and she witnessed it.

There may be some people or websites offering to get it for u i was thinking that but i end up sending my gf back to her home city to get it(it was her bc). Those websites people may have links and i think they can get it for you with some fees. But yes nadra doesnt issue it that is sure. However it will be from gov of punjab , sindh etc and it is on there letter pad

Please help. How did you get it?

Did you physically go there?

One of my friends referred me to a lawyer who was based in Karachi. I used his services to get mine from Rawalpindi. I whatsapped him the required docs and paid Rs 10,000 (5k initially. 5 after it was done) . Got it in two weeks by courier.

Yes 100 bucks dont hurt if you cant do it easily other way. I was thinking to do something like that.

However gov fee was 150 rupees only when my fiancee went there. It took an hour but travelling back and forth was hard

NADRA does not issue them but Union Council does based on NADRA and the paper will have silver lining for authenticity.

I used Mamoo In Pakistan services. There were few others to choose from. MIP has great reputation as they are a big company. It was $250 USD.

I was able to get the scan  yesterday of my BC. I had forgot to submit my Grand Father’s CNIC Card to MIP. Therefore, the CNIC is blank on my BC. Would that be an issue with USCIS? I submitted my GF card to them so they are working on a new BC now.

Not an issue. I checked from lawyer. 70% of Pakistani BCs dont have Grand father's CNIC number entered. I also had my blank and got a visa last week.

Probably because it was registered with KMC and I had the extract of BC.

Interesting.

I know people who had original birth certificates (that were also registered with the KMC), and they ended up getting "late entry" written on their birth certificates.  Sigh, goes to show one must always review things...

So I did receive the physical document last Friday. My lawyer will take a look on Monday and if everything looks OK. He will mail the RFIE response.

Looks like my clock will re-start since it was RFIE but I have heard of people getting their EAD faster than normal processing times.

Union council of ths area where your birth has been registered, issues birth certificate. Parents or sibling ID card is required.

They were registered in 1970s as well? How do they pull up birth records? My NICOP was registered in 2004. Do they create a new BC? Sibling ID was not required. Just the parents ID cards.
