my brother visa been refused for a wrong accusation..although he has no record to the nbi,police clearance,and case been dismissed...now my question is..is their any chance that he can still get  visa?or fight for his case? we try to hired lawyer but the lawyer we hired did not even try to fight the case he just said there is  no way he cant help..i hope someone can help me...i'm loosing hope for my brother future and his kids

First of all, you need to indicate what visa that your brother applying for?

Second, we need more details about "wrong accusation" before others can give you any advise.

You definitely require an attorney for this.......I would keep seeking legal counsel.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Drug Trafficking is one of the ultimate no no's as far as US immigration is concerned.

You say the case was dismissed so we can assume he was arrested and he had a trial.  If so, even if he claims innocent, it is on legal record and will probably be an uphill battle for him to get a visa. Drug trafficking is a serious offense.

Well does he have NBI hit on his record? What does his NBI say if anything at all? I would suggest this post be moved to the Philippines subforum.
