Hi everybody, on 17 January of 2017 we applied for the form I-130 . Immediately they sent us that they received the application but now it has been like 15 months and nothing. By this time i should have received my approval email and should have been in the NVC office  . We have called them and they say the same thing over and over that we should see how the processing times are. We are worried and confused. Please if someone know how to proceed it would mean a lot to me. Thank you

Well, their processing time says average processing time of 15-19 months. You just have to sit tight. Looks like you will get NOA2 soon. Unless you are waiting for more than the listed processing time, you can’t do anything about it.

On a good note, this lengthy processing time will not delay overall time between i130 submission and the interview date.

When you call  ask them to transfer to tier 2 officer. You can ask for case inquiry i guess. Also petitioner can speak to local  congressman who can contact uscis.

I don't think that the transfer will be possible because it can take more time ,and being patient isn't really my thing as you can tell 😋

Transfer means when u call uscis ask them that you want to speak to tier 2 officer. Officer can request a enquiry about your case like what is the condition now to check. Why its taking long time etc.

You are not alone!

We filed I-130 in December, 2016. It is 105 days since CSC received our response to a RFE. I have called several times. I don’t know what to do either. This is very very difficult.

I have same story we had ref and sent in the paperwork still waiting. The officers are overloaded  and we all of course think our case should be first. Prayers and many praying for you is what helps.
