I've personally participated in answering this question at least half a dozen times in the last two weeks.

The answers to hyour questions are "no" and "the K3" respectively. For further details please read other identical threads.

For now, you may wanna let these two process go on. Your K-3 will be forwarded to the Embassy very soon while CR-1 will be at the NVC for 2-3 months.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

Sheesh! NO! The I-130 will be held at the service center unless you file an I-824, pay $200 and wait nobody knows how long. This policy has been in effect more than six months and has been explained here at least half a dozen times in the last two weeks.

i strongly believed if the two k3 and cr-1 got approved at the same time.. the k3 will be the fastest to get your wife to the states but once get there she will adjust her status as permanent, if cr-1 papers will be back and forth and may take longer than the k3 (others used James Shortcut) but she will have an immigrant visa (permanet resident) no need to adjust only to lift conditions after two years of anniversary upon arrival in the states.
