Hi smart, supportive, and warrior visa journey friends.  My partner and I are tying to pay our Visa Fees and schedule an interview for our K1 visa through the Nairobi US embassy.  We are able to get as far as paying fees on their online system and are told there are no open interview appointments at this time.  We understand we have to wait until Nairobi opens up more appointments, but does anyone know if we are able to pay our Visa Fees prior to the embassy having open appointment times??? and if so how do we get a printed MRV form to pay our visa fees??  Thanks for any thoughts or advice on the matter, I have read through the past posts and am still feeling confused as nothing is from 2018!!!

I am now at this same stage. Embassy is now processing our case but need to pay the $265 fee. It says we can pay through MPESA but there is no information on how to do that. My fiancé is Ugandan so he can't just easily get to a PostBank location in Nairobi. What did you guys end up doing?

Y'all just need to keep on checking the website once interview times are open you will be able to get an interview slot and then the MPesa document will be accessible to you.  Your partner from Uganda can then Go to Kampala and use mobile money and pay Nairobi through MPesa. Just keep checking the website for open interview date

Keep checking every day.   Appointments will open up.  We got ours but it took awhile.  Got interview date.  After getting appointment, you can change dates easily.  So take any date.   As far as interview.  She was approved.  Only 3 or 4 questions.   I used Rapid Visa.   People knock them but they put together a good packet.   I would have made some mistakes.  No RFE.  So money well spent.

She will be arriving next week
