I didn't have much of a problem, however it was a therapist I saw 2 years ago on private healthcare. She was still working at the same clinic so it was a matter of finding her email again and getting in touch with her. The only painful part was I got charged a fair bit for administrative processing...

Let us know how your appointment goes, you will hopefully find that the points I was asked to provide information for on my treatment are available in some manner in your medical records. It that's the case, you shouldn't need to hunt down your old counsellor to create a report as it will all be right there to print off to take to your medical and your GP can write a letter with a current opinion.

Thank you, that's really helpful!

I have a GP appointment scheduled for next week so should hopefully be able to clear up any questions then.

Hi everyone, my visa application status became issued on the 30th of April and I am now in possession of my visa as of 3rd of May 2018! Time to get myself sorted for the next steps: moving over, marriage and adjustment of status :D

Hey @louisacookie,

This is really frustrating to hear you were made to wait so long for this (I keep seeing so many threads where people are being told they need to wait 14 days for reports from GPS!) especially having gone private. I pre-emptied a lot of this and had my therapist write out a detailed account of my treatment and her professional opinion of me and what my actual issues were. Once we agreed on the content I had it within 2 days. :/ I should get my NOA2 soon, and I'll get a letter from GP to support what she has written for me.

If you don't mind me asking, how were you treated during your exam? I'm so pleased you were approved :)

Thanks!
