Roger Stone , on the day he sent Assange dinner email said "devastating" Wikileaks were forthcoming

Roger Stone appeared on the InfoWars radio show the same day he sent an email claiming he dined with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange -- and he predicted "devastating" upcoming disclosures about the Clinton Foundation.

Stone's comments in his August 4, 2016, appearance are the earliest known time he claimed to know of forthcoming WikiLeaks documents. A CNN KFile timeline shows that on August 10, 2016, Stone claimed to have "actually communicated with Julian Assange."

Only CNN would twist staying at the London hotel in Hollywood into staying at a hotel in London.

You missed the point. Was he lying when he said he had dinner with Assange or is he lying now when there might be criminal implications to that meeting?   I personally think he was just bragging on Infowars, as Stone is prone to do, about dinner but had some communication with Assange electronically.  It certainly appears  that  Roger Stone as part of the campaign coordinated the release of stolen material intended to damage Trumps  opponent. 

 

I say appears, But this is why we have an independent counsel, to get to the truth.

Obviously he didn't meet Assange in person. I don't see how that is even being brought into question at this point. What Assange did or didn't tell him before hand is not known but there is no evidence to suggest Stone coordinated anything. Am I missing something here or is this just wishful thinking from the left?

Putin had to have insight into the American psychology. Stone was the guy. He has a Nixon tattoo on his back. He and Trump used to go to the basement together at Studio 54. trump is an idiot and Stone a (foolish) strategist.

Also I'm not so sure he even said he met with Assange (not sure he didn't either). The article says he said that on the Alex Jones show. Has anyone listened to the recording of him actually saying that? I tried listening to Alex Jones once for entertainment but turned it off because his voice is too annoying. I question whether or not the statement was even made that CNN claims was made. You can never take anything they say at face value.

Can someone at least provide me with a direct quote of exactly what he said regarding meeting with Assange because that seems to be missing from the article. They provide some vague paraphrasing but no actual quote of what he allegedly said about meeting with Assange. Kind of strange they would omit that when that is what the whole article is centered around.
