Ok so if you don't know Hank has been working with me to get my wife's birth certificate due to losing her ancient one on the move here to NC. What we figured out is that as of right now you CAN NOT pay for it using a credit card, or try to pay for using the BDO remittance way if it is going abroad. So what we had to do is do another request for it to be delivered to someone in the Philippines and then have them ship it here to the USA, also this was is cheaper as well. So we ordered it on Monday morning our time and it is already in Davao getting ready to be sent to my SIL's house in Compostela Valley. Then my niece will bring it back here to the USA when she comes back on the 16th. That way we will have it for the Outreach on the 22nd of this month.

Maraming Salamat Hank for helping me out with this issue and getting down to the bottom of the issue.

WoW .. that was fast!   I wasn't expecting to hear it was delivered this quickly.

Walang Anuman

It is not delivered but it is out for delivery right now according to 2Go. So it's a toss up right now on wither I want my niece to bring to it back then send it to us or have it FedEx to us by my SIL.

UPDATE:

My SIL received it yesterday on Monday from 2Go. She went down to Tagum City today and sent it out DHL to us so it should be here by the latest on Friday.

And for less money than what they want on the "broken" e-census website or close to the same once shipping is figured?

Yeah shipping in DHL from Mindanao to NC was 1700 Php then add in the 330 Php for the birth certificate is about 2030 Php. Which is pretty decent considering they were wanting $20 USD to go snail mail to the USA.

That is about the same price as FedEx from the Philippines

Yeah I know. I was wanting to go Fedex but they didn't have any location remotely close to my SIL but DHL does

I like DHL  just not as many locations in the USA anymore.  They hand stuff off to the post office for some areas
