Nonsense. I rarely even participate in those threads.

For the record though, starting their own village is not my idea. The MDR brought this up in a previous thread. I actually said it wouldn't work, so good that you see that now.

Whether it would work or not is the issue.  That it’s even suggested as a way around the illegal banning of weaponry is silly.  If it wasn’t you who has spoken out against those who suggest moving out of the US (because they don’t like the rules here, such as illegal immigrants, or whomever comes to the US and doesn’t agree with our policies), apologies.  You often take the side of those who do, so perhaps I am just getting confused on how much you support their ideas.

Mostly thru honest citizens, I would imagine.  But also, the police may be able to access gun registry data they the NCIS or FBI (not sure if this is possible, or legal).

There really is no "gun registry" for non NFA weapons. NICS only lets a dealer know whether a person is legal to purchase or not. It does not "register" weapons to a person. I cant speak for communist states like CA and CT. I think they might have gun registries for evel assault rifles.

I realize this is true, but only partly...

"In New York City for example, the NYPD has a record of the manufacturer, model, serial number and caliber of every firearm (handgun and long arms too). You need to have a registration certificate on your person for every long arm in addition to needing a “Permit to Possess Rifles or Shotguns In New York City” (which are limited to 5 rounds among other restrictions).  Other municipalities also have a track record of ignoring the Federal Firearm Owner's Protection Act."

Also..

States that Require Registration of All Firearms

  1. District of Columbia
  2. Hawaii

States that Require Registration of Handguns

  • New York

States that Require New Residents to Report Their Firearms

  1. California
  2. Maryland (handguns and assault weapons)

The BATFE also keeps 5 databases of guns, from traces, suspect guns, reported stolen, etc.  And if you've ever registered your gun on a military installation, I doubt that record ever gets expunged  (though I have no written proof of this, just my opinion).

Like I said, comunist states have made their own laws but the majority of the country doesn't have to register their guns.  Imagine the bureaucratic mess that would be if we did. This guy explaise it better than i can.

Awesome video, never seen it before.  Some of it I was aware of, but he makes a lot of good points.

To put this into perspective, less than 134,000 NFA items were sold in 2016.  It took an average of 6-8 months to process each tax stamp and for the owner to pic up thief silencers.  Ridiculous that it should take that long.  Now imagine if there were 10 times that many (still WAY below the number of guns in the US).  Registering and accounting for all the guns would be astronimical and expensive, as he said in the video.

I wonder how this village with idiotic leadership will actually enforce this ban?   It’s not illegal now, but in June, your guns are suddenly “illegal”?  What about a grandfather clause for those who lived there for years and owned the guns?  And never broke the law with them?  This shall be interesting to see played out.  I would imagine that the first case that goes to court will be won by the gun owner.

On a side note, I ran across the stats for gn production fro 1986 til 2015.  Not one single assault rifle was made or sold in the US:
