Removal of Condition

I got here through a fiance visa  in March 2016 got married a month of my arrival here April 2016 , got my conditional  residence card and its expires in November , i want to know i will be filing to remove my condition in August , can i also file to become a citizen 3 months before my 3rd anniversary of being married or i have to have a permanent residence before i can file to be a citizen

You can only fill for Citizenship after 3 years of have a Green Card, not 3 years of being married.

Timeline

3 years of being a LPR bit of the marriage itself.

 people who got married 10 years ago, immigrating just now to the US are not automatically being citizens!

 

So...not the marriage time but the LPR time counts ;)
