Almost 3weeks since I got my NVC #

Hi I have a questions hope somebody Can enlighten  me with this one,  I got my NVC # almost 3 weeks  now and I keep on checking  it on the CEAC website but still at NVC,  I called them yesterday about this and the girl told me that  my case is under administrative process? Why's that? How long are they going to do that? Is so frustrating.  Hope somebody  can answer my questions. TIA

Ohh, my questions are  why is  my case is under administrative process at nvc? Is that normal? How long my papers will be stuck at Nvc?  I thought the responsibility of nvc will just give us the # correct me if I'm wrong

Only the NVC can tell you why you file is under AP. It will take as long as it take. Could be days weeks or months and almost no way to speed it up. The NVC also does checks on the file. They are just a number assigning  office. The have things to check to make all is right for the Embassy or consulate.

I’m in the same boat. I was given a case number by nvc 2 weeks ago but since then the web site just says ‘at NVC’ it’s beyond frustrating.  After  waiting 7 months to just get past uscis, everyone said it would go super fast now and it’s not. I’m watching others get their case numbers and going from at nvc to ready in 24 hours. When I call nvc I get no answers. ( sigh) This is such a game of patience and I feel like I have none left.
