Hi Everyone. I will post my complete experience once I get my GC. Thank you all for your support.

 

I would like to confirm something that has been bothering me. Before going to the US I paid the Immigration Visa Fee online which was $220 as of 2018.

I got a reference number starting with IOE. When I entered the states, I informed the CBP officer a change of address and then called USCIS to inform them as well. 

A couple of days ago I got a mail through the post confirming the change of address. My case status in my USCIS account is of I-551 which has the ref# starting with IOE.

Status, in short, says payment received and GC should be received within 120 days after payment or after entering the US.

 

1. Do I need to file any other form?

2. Do I need to file an I-485?
