Right?!? How long on average does it take to go from At NVC to In Transit?

Each time I see it at "At NVC" my hopes drop a little more.

I just want to get my interview booked dammit haha

I think that depends on embassy too... in my case it usually takes 3 business days so I really really want to see it in transit today....

pleaseeeeee

Naes did you call your embassy or was this information listed in their page?

Nope, I checked every single person with “japan” flag....I stalked through whoever I could find....

i dont think this is an information they would give out.

Hi guys, I'm so mad I just called NVC I spoke with Liz and she asked me for my case number and then she asked me to tell her that she said our letter and I did not have the letter with me, what do you think Liz that I'm with that everywhere and I did not find the picture on my phone that you do not only need the number and our personal information, it's not your fault but you never asked for the letter, I'm so so mad I do not know why, maybe so much waiting is driving me crazy, This looks like a game ... I'm sorry guys I just wanted to get it out of me and I do not have anyone to tell me and what I understand and my fiancé is in training so I can not talk to him now ... A hug to all! :(

If you have your NOA2 just say you have the letter and then tell them when you got it, give them your WAC humber they will either tell you no case number yet or ask you for more details.

Hope this helps.

Wow, this was the first time I called and it went through immediately. No annoying music yay!

The lady asked my name + DOB and my fiance’s name but unfortunatelt no case number yet.

She told me our case is being put in the system and it won’t take long before they notify me.

Whatever, I’ll call again tomorrow....

Nice, one step closer 😁

Also I'm thinking that cases only go into transit on Thursdays or Fridays, correct me if I'm wrong but mine didn't go out last week and had my case number since last Thursday. 🤔

Hi. I got NOA2 on 13th. I just called NVC and she gave me my case number.

But she gave me two numbers (one is with three letters and another one is 8 numbers )

does anyone know what is this 8 numbers one for?

The case number starts with the three letters (you probably already know that) but the 8 numbers I don't know. It can't be the A number because that is 9 digits long. The three most important numbers is the WAC, Case and A numbers. If you have those three you needn't worry as you have every number they will ask for in any documents or at the interview.

Thank you for replying! I think that was invoice number. I still don’t know why they gave me invoice number tho..
