Scroll up a cpl of pages

I'm not sure I understand.

And also, is there a way to give the NVC your email? I read somewhere you could email them and put stuff in the title of the email to have your email on record but I can't find it anymore.

Scroll up a couple of pages and read some of the other posts. Your questions are ones that are frequently asked so you will find your answers.

That's exciting. Tell me how the process goes in Santo Domingo. I am Dominican and my fiance is from there too. Glad to see a fellow Dominicana.

My NOA2: April 18th - hoping to recieve nvc # my end of week. :)

A mi me tardo 3 semanas para nvc darme ese código fue algo estresante para mi, pero gracias a Dios ya solo me falta hacer la cita a ver si mañana me habilitan el calendario

With 84 pages, I think it's natural some people can repeat the same questions. I looked and didn't see anything in any relation to what I asked.

Called today and spoke to Jamie, he was the sweetest. Said it had not been “sent out” by USCIS which he meant that NVC didn’t receive it but that it could arrive any day :)

I called the NVC and the guy told me that I should give them 30 days before calling. I thought it only took two weeks?

Also if you go to the the top of this page and click on the magnifying glass/search you can type in "can I give NVC my email" and you will find numerous threads on the topic. Good Luck!

It does not take 2 weeks
Every case is different. Expect anywhere from 10 days to yes, 6 weeks.
Though we see most people get it in about 3 weeks

I'm aware that it says the average is 2-3 weeks, however, I was given information different by the actual agent at the NVC, hence my confusion and thus my question.

And my other question was about if it was possible to email them first. I read you can call and give them your email, but the agent said I couldn't do that until after 30 days. This is why I'm asking, because I'm confused.

Your passive aggressive replies aren't helping at all.

I don't know the answers to your questions but I was offering help to where you might find it.

1) the link Naes posted is helpful for understanding timing after NOA2.

2) and the search bar for looking up others experiences so you don't have to wait for a reply.

You will see both an array of answers from followers here as everyone's experience is different. You will also find that the answers you get from NVC customer service reps when you call will vary too as they are not all on the same page either. Try calling again and see if you reach someone else with a different answer about your email question.

Hi guys , do i get a mail or email when the NVC receives my case?

What do you mean by "received your case"
NVC will not contact you until they have sent your case to the embassy. They e-mail
But from those around here, that e-mail is typically delayed. which means they are not contacting you the day they send your case to the embassy but more like weeks after.

hence why it might make more sense for you to call them and get your number so you can track your own case.

Yo la quiero poner para finales de mayo o principios de junio pero ya veré cuando me habiliten el calendario
