September filer, NOA2 on April 3.  Called and got our NVC case number today, 4/24/18.  On to the next step...more waiting, for Manila "ready" status (and a bunch of parallel activities, of course!).

*Update* is: change of our CEAC online status to "In Transit" on Friday, 4/27/18.  Got an email also with the same information.  I'll be combing through this thread and others for # of days, recently, that are typical for a file to go from "In Transit" to "Ready" in Manila.  My fiance is meanwhile busy in Manila with NBI, NSO, Cenomar, DS-160 & fee, passport-style photos, et al.

@Greenbaum another question from ds-160,im from philliphines and about the name? there's only surname and given name.i googled it and it says  your given name is the first name and middle name. Im just confused coz some of my friends who just had their interview this month and last month said that's it's ok not to put the middle name.do i have to put my name and middle name together in the given name? thank you☺️

Fill in your full name (first and last) in English. Enter all names fully and correctly, exactly as they appear in your passport. Include middle names, if applicable. You will also be asked to enter your full name in your native alphabet. Again use your full name as it appears in your passport.

Guys, the fianceé must make a separate 134 affidavit form for my daughter and me, or does one serve only for both?

Yes you do have to fill out a two separate forms because they are processing two different visa petitions a K1 and a K2 petition.

Hi! On the DS160, there is a question about current employer and a field to enter the company's phone number. Will immigration be calling my employer anytime soon? I haven't told anyone at the office I plan to move to the US... Obviously, I'd rather tell them once I have my visa in hand and give my written notice instead of them finding out from immigration over the phone... 🤨

Sorry guys but I’m new here and I’m sure this question has been asked and answered somewhere but how long does it usually take from the time you get your NVC number till the time your status says “ready”?

Somebody told me like 10 days all depends on the country, I received my case # on April 25 and still at NVC

From what I can tell, it depends on whether your file is electronic or old school paper.  It would help if you complete your profile so people here have more information to try and assist  you.  Good luck.

...and checking just now, status is READY as of 4/30/18.  WOW.  Paid our fee at BPI today, my I-134 packet is to arrive for her today, fingers crossed and praying.  DS160 is submitted.  She was getting ready for St. Lukes on Thursday already, good plan!
