April 2018 NOA2 ----> NVC

I called NVC this morning and was told that they have not received the file from USCIS. I called again in the afternoon and NVC confirmed that the file was received today, and stated that a case file number will take up to 8 weeks to assign. I will call back on Monday for case file number.

@José y Yeny Choosing the language should be the first step.  Option 1 is for English.  It occurred to me that you might be choosing option 2 for Spanish so I just called NVC to see what happens and it appears that if you choose option 2 for Spanish, you will not be given the option to choose 5 or 7.  It will automatically place you on hold for a representative.  If this is what you are doing, just wait on hold for the representative and tell them what you are calling about.  Hope this helps!

That is the correct page but incorrect visa type.  You will be checking under immigrant visa instead of non-immigrant as it looks like you were selecting here.  Maybe that’s all your issue is!  Let me know if switching it over works for you and I will check mine again.  Lol

Im checking on immigrant and nothing. I think they just need some time to update system.

Now, side note...I was thinking of calling this evening but I'm starting to think it will be a waste of time and a disappointment. Anyone who has the NOA2 date of April 12th/13th been received yet anyway?

Yeahhhh I just called and they apparently received our case today 😍🎉 I'll just set my alarm for 3 am and hope for good news before the weekend starts 😌

 

Noa2: 04/07 (hard copy) / 04/09 (online)

 

Anyone from Germany here who can tell me how long it takes from Nvc to the embassy in Frankfurt  after we get our case number assigned ?

@Swissmiss82, @Naes, @emekus94, @Thelucybelle  Our case number finally showed up on CEAC and it’s IN TRANSIT!!!!  We were even able to schedule my fiance’s interview at London Embassy already for May 23!!  They had as early as May 9th and even some for the following week but as my fiance’s medical exam is not until the 12th we needed to push it out a bit.  I am so excited beyond words right now!  I just want to jump and cry and scream all at once!

That's really exciting. Ours is London too. I can't wait to get our damn case number.

This is nice to see! Im also from the UK (waiting for NVC number atm) but to see some interview dates reassures me they have frequent availability  Thank you

Our case finally reached NVC today.  We still don't have a number.  Our NOA2 was 4-6 online.  I am hoping that since ours is electronic that it will move faster from here since it took 3 weeks between NOA2 and NVC received.
