Called 2 times tonight,nothing yet.

@Naes is your case also electronic?

At the beggining when ive been calling ive always pressed #7, than after all comments i tried #5 and they said they received it, tonight i tried to call #7 and they said this time to press #5 cause case is electronic and they dont have an access to that system. So i called again #5 and unfortunately same story about up to 8 weeks. Daaaaa

Will call them tomorrow eve again...

@Naes be patient,i understand you a lot. You remeber how ive been when we been talking on october fillers thread. Im going crazy here without him, i cant go to see him while we are in process and he cant come af the moment cause he used all his vacation, even have -a lot of hours. As my fiance says: WE ARE ALMOST THERE,we have been waiting for our NOA2 so long, so we can handle few more days.

But even he cant take vacation, he already been talking to employer to get days off to fly to me for the interview to make me feel more comfortable (im a bit stressy when i have visa interview, even when its schenghen visa) and hopefully to fly back together.

The only one thing i hate most is that we cant actually plan anything while they process your case...grrrrrr

Miracle gonna happen soon!

Thank you for encouragement... I actually can handle everything.. I can shut up and sit.

but I have to buy a ticket to Turkey and that’s my only reason for going crazy.. I just have to see my grandma who got sick and can barely remember me on the phone, at least one last time before she forgets who I am.

Without this, I think I could just cry and wait.

Ok guys I’m done for the day.

total of 9 calls 1 hangup

no number... although I got excited for a second cause the guy just started to ask my name and then stopped and said we just received it today.

So I’ll try to call the medical place and ask if they work through holidays...

No you just need to check your case status on ceac site, when it says ready it will mean it reached the embassy.

No I'm not approved (Just lurking and cheering @Naes on silently...)

BUT when we are checking CEAC site with our new approved case number do we select immigrant or non immigrant Visa?

I thought we were classified as Non immigrant even though we are eventually immigrating just technically, not at this stage....

Just clarifying....

(GO @Naes, GO❤)

May I please ask you a little about your NVC experience, since you already done with it. It looks like your case was one of the fastest through nvc process. Do you count the beginning of the process since you got your NOA2 hard copy? Than 13 days is an awesome result!!! I'm sure everybody would love to have it that fast (me including). Have you been calling there and when, cause you did not even exceed the 2 week time. Just curious. I'd really appreciate the info!!!

I guess I just got lucky. I called them exactly two weeks after my NOA2 date on the website and the case was there and the day after I got my case #. I personally don't think it changes much to call the reps because whether or not I like it, if they don't have my case then that's all there is to it if I'm within the time frame they gave me. Just give them 2 weeks and after that keep your hope alive. I called them I think it was around 6-7pm central time. I think the later you call the better it is because they would have either processed majority if not all cases they have for that day so maybe mine would be in the system around then.

What to do after NOA2:

Spoiler

After USCIS approves the petition, it is sent to the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC will assign you a case number and send your petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where your fiancé(e) lives.

The NVC will mail/email you a letter when it sends your fiancé(e) case to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Once you receive this letter, inform your fiancé(e) to take the below-listed actions to apply for a K-1 visa and prepare for the interview.
