I'm so excited about hearing good news hehe. Sorry I know I'm annoying guys. I'm on a K1 AND CR1 facebook page and was asking about April approvals that have gotten their case numbers. Well, this one girl said she was a January approval and still hasn't got hers yet...yikes. We got this guys, we can make it through this!

Hi all! I was wondering how long it takes on average for case to be assigned from the receipt date?

NOA2  3/29, online update 4/2. It reached NVC on 4/18 and still pending. Thank you!

How do you kknow when it reached NVC? Calling?

Depends on which number you're calling (actually depends on if it is in the old system (7) or new electronic system (5))

5 usually takes longer.

yes when you call and it reaches there, they tell you if the case got there even if it is not assigned a case number yet.
