I remember a few threads lately complaining about interview times of Mumbai . 

Googling anything starting with visajourney k1 would give awesome results cause sometimes questions will just drown under the pages.

Also waiting for NVC case # ... we were approved (noa2) April 13th. I called last week Friday 20th just in case and there was no updates. The rep told me to call this week Friday as well to check again. It sounded like he was trying to say "No need to call everyday".

 

But at this point he may be right, it's been 11 calendar days so far. What do you guys think? Based on realistic expectations, call or wait?

The latest date we saw that’s received is April 3rd at the moment.. so I would wait another week at least.

Makes sense, thanks for the response. By the way, you may or may not know this, but after getting the case number, is it essential to wait for the case status to say "Ready" before completing the DS-160 form? I noticed it varies from country to country. Our embassy is in Pakistan, Islamabad.

Completing is ok but I believe you need to wait for it to show ready in order to submit the form. 

 

Some embassies may want you to wait till they send instructions however i do not have detail on islamabad.

We're still impatiently waiting on the NVC too. Have everything ready for the next stage though. She wasn't too thrilled when she went to get all the vaccinations, arm is still sore.

So today I talked to Emmett...Emmett is well just Emmett

 

it takes 6 weeks to receive them 8 weeks to give a number: well Emmett really? Cause my validity says 4 months that’s 16 weeks in total. So I would have only 2 weeks to have my interview. But you know what Emmett? I can’t do that.. you know why? Because the closest date is 2.5 month away. 

 

I didnt punch emmett cause he was far away. But I don’t like anyone that gives me this bs. Be honest Emmett be honest and that’s all I ask for.

 

emmett would make a great employee for uscis tho!
