My fiance was in the US military and was honorably discharged. Do I need copies of his military records?

Also, where can I find more info regarding proof of petitioner's domicile in the US? Could he use a letter from his employer (he works for the Federal government)?

For his military records use a copy of his DD-214. That has everything they will need. [Here is a case of each Embassy requirements for the interview are different. MOST do not ask for military information but Montreal does]

A bank statement that has his current address will suffice. When you gather the information required for the financial's (I-134) he'll need a letter from his employer.

If you have a lot of questions for the completion of the I-134 form then this is a good primer.

This is an example of a I-134 filled out.

Once last place to look is in "Portals" for your country. A ton of information contained with in. Access can be found on the blue ribbon at the top of this page.  Here is Montreal http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Canada&cty=Montreal

Please house, we waiting for approval for months. But I want to ask, "Does NVC letter directs one on how to pay and its the visa fee paid at NVC stage? "

Each Embassy is different so I offer information for Nigeria here:

http://nigeria.usemb...visa_forms.html

Fiance/Fiancee visas (K1s, K3s)

If your K1 or K3 petition has been approved by the Department of Homeland Security and you have received notification from the National Visa Center that your petition is on its way to post, you should download and complete the following application. The U.S. Consulate General in Lagos will contact you when your petition has arrived at post so that you may schedule your appointment. If you have questions, you may e-mail LagosIV@state.gov [Click to open "Interview Preparatory Packet (K1, K3)"PDF 539KB] Also, please review the pamphlet  Information on the Legal Rights Available to Immigrant Victims of Domestic Violence in the United States and Facts about Immigrating on a Marriage-Based Visa.”  (PDF 53KB)

There is a question about vaccination, is that that one we will get from doctor?  You answer that question with a YES as you will have all vaccinations completed during your medical.

And other is about this 99 years. Where you have this question? That question is latter on in the DS-160 about your intended stay. You should enter "Permanent" as you will be immigrating. Do not be a smart a$$ and put 99 years as this process is serious and if you lie or misrepresent your information you could be denied and band from entering the US in the future. So don't be stupid.

Here is a good website that walks you through filling out the DS-160 which I think you will find helpful. https://photos.state.gov/libraries/jamaica/231771/PDFs/DS-160 Instructions.pdf

Answer "no" because you do not have specific plans as your interview has not taken place and that you have received the approved visa.

The form you are filling out is based on your answers from a previous question. So the question you answered doesn't require you to complete that information. This form in it's entirety will be different for each applicant. So I recommend that you proceed with your DS-160 and ignore what others are saying about theirs. You will not miss any questions that are required of you, but you will miss questions (the form is designed this way) that others were required to complete BUT not you. Take a deep breath. Just walk through the completing of your DS-160 and don't worry about others.

Well to be honest I didn't see a permanent option and for vacations you don't need to get them all at the time if your medical aslong as you get them before of aos
