Are you able to print out the interview appointment confirmation email? You're the UK London embassy, right? I believe that can be used to get in.

We should be able to do that once we book the interview, our case is in transit and I thought we couldn’t book until the “ready” status

Yeah, ours is still in transit after two weeks. Our interview has been booked. If your case isn't there you won't be able to book. My fiance accidentally entered the wrong case number and it wouldn't accept it, it then accepted with the right one. I honestly think someone forgot to update us on the CEAC. Our interview is June 12th...I'll update how it goes. I figure worse case scenario he gives them our stuff and it may be delayed by a couple of weeks if it's not in the system. You can wait until it changes to ready. We went by others advise on here that are UKers that scheduled theirs while in transit. Theirs changed to ready pretty quick...ours didn't sooo we're just hoping for the best.

We tried to book but the website was saying “that number is not available or ready for an appointment” so how did you do it?

I'm not sure honestly...my fiance did it. That's why I think ours IS ready but the CEAC hasn't updated. From what I've read it's happened to others and they can be bad about not sending "packet 3" as well. I'm giving it a week and telling himt o email them requesting the letter.

before you get to proceed, one of the question is if you have an immigrant visa. you’ll have to click yes otherwise it wont continue so i click yes instead. i guess i should just schedule it on the day when i think i’ll be having my visa on hand right?

You have to click no if you don’t have it. I was able to schedule mine without visa yet.

from previous threads they say that u may schedule an appointment and attend it without the visa but they will not give you that sticker something. You would have to come back with your visa on your passport.

Thank you for the heads up. This is something new to me. We could probably ask @Greenbaum

Hello everyone! We received our NOA2 Approval April 16th, 2018 and NVC emailed a few days ago that our case is in transit to the Frankfurt Embassy. My question is: what can I do to start preparing myself? Perhaps for the Packet 3? I have already requested to get my criminal record because that takes a couple weeks to receive. I have also gathered some evidence of our relationship (photos, etc). But is there anything else I should be doing? Like schedule my medical? Or do i have to wait to receive mail instructions from Frankfurt Embassy? I've already tried to google for this info but haven't found an answer..

So I'll try my best to help you both :) I am waiting for my package 3 as well which Frankfurt sent out on Tuesday :(

After your case is in transit to the embassy you should get everything that is on our K1 checklist:

https://de.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/21/Instructions-for-IV-and-K-Visa-Applicants-1.pdf

Just go through the whole thing and gather all documents. Get your police certificate ASAP because that can take a few weeks. Get your medical examination too - but don't forget that it is just valid for 6 months. But at this stage I think you shouldn't worry about that anymore. Get evidence of relationship - I will include an updated letter of intent to marry. You also need enough proof that your fiancé is able to support you in the states - you'll find more information on the checklist!

If you need help just contact me again!

I am not sure why you can’t proceed when you click no.

@Greenbaum your thoughts on this?
