Hello everyone. We are October filers for K1 visa. NOA2 March 30th and no case number yet :(  Anyone here experiencing the same situation with the NVC? Thanks

Have you called them or sent an email to NVCINQUIRY@state.gov ?

The NOA2 states that you can start contacting them after 30 days has past...yiu are definitely beyond that...

So NVC just added your email to the case file even before they had received it?

Um, I think so? Cause they were the ones that updated me that they received our petition and stuff like that.

I used their official queries form and filled out that I (the applicant) was the one asking for updates.

I wrote down both mine and my fiance's email in the request, but for the first two emails only I received it, and on the last one when it left NVC both of us were notified.

Hello everyone! We received our NOA2 Approval April 16th, 2018 and NVC emailed a few days ago that our case is in transit to the Frankfurt Embassy. My question is: what can I do to start preparing myself? Perhaps for the Packet 3? I have already requested to get my criminal record because that takes a couple weeks to receive. I have also gathered some evidence of our relationship (photos, etc). But is there anything else I should be doing? Like schedule my medical? Or do i have to wait to receive mail instructions from Frankfurt Embassy? I've already tried to google for this info but haven't found an answer..

can you tell me if everyone comes back for day 2? and if so how long is the process on day 2 of the mnl medical.

Most come back on day 2 for vaccinations or sputum testing. Both are about an hour to two hours long for completing.

Two things that will help you. One is to use the "portals" tab above and search for your country. Everything that is needed is spelled out there. Here is the link http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Germany&cty=Frankfurt.  Second find your sub-forum for your country and ask specific Embassy questions there. Go to the tab that says "forums" and scroll down 3/4 of the page and search for your region. Yours is here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/95-europe-amp-eurasia-except-the-uk-and-russia/

Also, I recommend that you spend some time reading the entries here on this thread as there is a lot of information being shared. I for one have answered your question for others numerus times. So reading the thread is your first step.

I know that it’s confusing but with or without visa you can schedule an appointment.

before you get to proceed, one of the question is if you have an immigrant visa. you’ll have to click yes otherwise it wont continue so i click yes instead. i guess i should just schedule it on the day when i think i’ll be having my visa on hand right?

from previous threads they say that u may schedule an appointment and attend it without the visa but they will not give you that sticker something. You would have to come back with your visa on your passport.

Hi, we’re also going through the Dublin’s embassy, what’s it look like from after the embassy receives the case to interview time? They won’t let you sched now interview until after medical? My fiancée said she can’t schedule the medical until after she has the embassy appointment. Is it possible to schedule medical before embassy has the NVC file?

Yes, you can schedule the medical before you get your case number from the NVC. Wait times for medicals are roughly about 3-4 weeks currently, I just had mine last week. When you call you can request to be put on a cancellation list, I was lucky enough to have my appointment moved up 2 weeks.

You need to have the medical and results in hand before getting an interview date. As far as I'm aware the embassy actually schedules this for you also. Let me know if you have any other questions, I'd be happy to help as much as I can.

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone could shed some light. Would there be any reason for issue if the applicant only brought NOA2 to the interview ? I thought that since everything is already in their system it wouldn’t be a massive issue as we both have our WAC Number memorized

Are you able to print out the interview appointment confirmation email? You're the UK London embassy, right? I believe that can be used to get in.
