Attention: Please note, it is vital that you provide the valid and correct DS-160 confirmation number when you schedule an appointment. If the confirmation number is invalid or incorrectly entered, you will not be admitted to the interview and you will be required to book a new appointment. When applying as part of a family or group, make sure that each applicant has correctly provided their individual DS-160 confirmation number when scheduling their appointment.

A little confused here... Where do we input the confirmation number of our DS160 when we finalize the schedule. I already printed my DS160 and had made my appointment but don't remeber it asked for a DS160 confirmation number... @jeyster12 @stat @Louize

I don't remember asking for mine either. When my fiance printed the interview confirmation it just had the UID barcode and nothing about the ds160. He brought that and the ds160 confirmation and was admitted inside, no problems :)

I had the same problems before too because I booked the appointment before completing ds160, but I figured it should be fine as long as I printed out the confirmation page for both :) Good luck, ate!!

Im still confused. my appointment confirmation did not say anything about my DS-160 confirmation code and I don't remember it asking for one before I finished scheduling.... I thought we fill them out separately? :(

oh wow, thats odd. coz my interview confirmation has both. the DS-160 confirmation number on the lower left and UID on the lower right. 🤔 i prefer not having the confirmation number instead so i wont have the mismatch problem i think

His only had the UID on the lower left, but my fiance brought both the appointment print out and also the DS-160 which has its own barcode. He didn't have any problems during the interview so I believe it's okay..

How was it filled out? I believe yours is exactly what it says in the notice below:

Attention: Please note, it is vital that you provide the valid and correct DS-160 confirmation number when you schedule an appointment. If the confirmation number is invalid or incorrectly entered, you will not be admitted to the interview and you will be required to book a new appointment. When applying as part of a family or group, make sure that each applicant has correctly provided their individual DS-160 confirmation number when scheduling their appointment.

read from other forums, guess its ok. and its also ok to make another DS160 if there is a need as long as the confirmation page is brought with you.
