The interview last all of 5 min. Most times 99.999999% they don't even look at chat logs. Trust the process.

thank you so much... I will just provide chat logs and e-mails that I have.

Sorry, but was that so hard? Do everything on this website in the order that it is given and I will guarantee you will pass in the Philippines unless of course you have some dark secret we don't know about. Don't look at websites of others, don't look at YouTube videos, don't second guess what others are doing for their Embassy. JUST stick to this website. Trust the process if you want to pass!!! :bonk:

Maybe someone has the same situation? I called today to NVC and they told that case is waiting to be delivered to the Embassy. How long it usually takes after such response the status of the case to be changed to "In Transit"?

For each it's different. No one can say for sure. We have seen 2-3 weeks lately.

@Greenbaum they gave me Invoice # what is it?

Invoice #? Could you have mistaken that with what is needed; the case #. Case number begins with 3 letters followed by 10 numbers. Which is yours?

No, I am not mistaken. Case number I have and they told me that they can tell me also invoice #

I asked for what is that and they told that they will send email with explanations.

I'd just like to see the date of the documentation  you are talking about (or where in the VJ forum you found this posted) as we have found (as posted yesterday and today by a few of us) a USCIS link stating that as of Feb 2018, the wet signature policy changed.

If you scroll up to my posts from earlier today you will be able to download the PDF file of the rule change from the forum link I posted.

I wouldn't want to be giving ppl incorrect info as most ppl don't read everything and just run with the one thing they read without doing any research on their own.

So true!

Your NOA1 has a "receipt number". If you have both invoice/receipt number AND the case number then those are the only two numbers you need to move your process forward. Each are asked for on different forms.

Thank you.

we will see on Monday :) I am taking whatever I can with me but not really hopeful at the moment hehe

Hmmm I’m not sure at which step it will show... so I don’t want to give wrong information.

You can call and check?

But dont worry, it is always correctable at the embassy stage

I read some where in this blog but I don't remember the answer. I think that when you receive your Embassy letter it should appear there as it did on my wife's embassy letter and also the NOA2. Remember the mother is 01 and the children by age will follow with 02, 03 etc.

I filed out the DS-160 today,  then scheduled the interview before reading the below info on the packet 3.

A NOTICE OF READINESS MUST BE PROCESSED BY OUR OFFICE BEFORE AN APPOINTMENT IS SCHEUDLED. PLEASE DO NOT PAY ANY FEES OR REGISTER/BOOK ANY APPOINTMENT UNTIL INSTRUCTED TO DO SO BY THIS OFFICE. Please confirm receipt of this email as soon as possible.

The only appointment date available was exactly 2 months from today 17th of July 2018, nothing before & nothing after that date. I've called the embassy asking them would other appointment dates become available and they are no help, they keep telling me to follow the instructions (a bit late now).

Anyone have any ideas? Should I cancel the appointment date and continue on sending back the packet 3 in hopes other dates open up?
