i read it the part where it gives instruction on the I-134. i'll look back and send you my previous screenshots of it. unless there is a new update on that, both my fiancee and i have read that last October when we were preparing for this process and that's the reason i have my I-134 with wet signature. SEE even in march 2018 i tag the subjet on VJ forum and it says it required wet that's the reason i'm saying unless it's a late change and update in the process

I'd just like to see the date of the documentation  you are talking about (or where in the VJ forum you found this posted) as we have found (as posted yesterday and today by a few of us) a USCIS link stating that as of Feb 2018, the wet signature policy changed.

If you scroll up to my posts from earlier today you will be able to download the PDF file of the rule change from the forum link I posted.

I wouldn't want to be giving ppl incorrect info as most ppl don't read everything and just run with the one thing they read without doing any research on their own.

but i dont want any one to strees about it maybe  i don't have the right and updated information so so stress. one of the very experience one use to say here on the forum ; trust the process

Where in that post it says that “original” wet signature is needed?

or sorry let me make it clear, a scan of wet signature is valid.

wet signature is important obviously but by saying it’s not needed to be sent what people mean is it can be scannedz

most people here are missing one important thing, the opposite of wet signature is not scanned or not, it is things like e-signatures and typing without ink

I see it just as a debate amongst VJers @Naes with no proof for either.

The Difference between wet signature and electronic signature

A signature by hand, in ink is required in any document, this is called wet signature. The thing that is not valid is an e-signature and such electronic ways of signing.

a wet signature can be send by different means such as a scan and email. Which is valid as the signature is still wet.

The rules changed recently and they made it clear in many different places (by uscis and dos)

but what I realize is that people don’t know what “wet signature” means and think in old terms of “wet”

How about this...you ask at your embassy interview and I'll ask at mine too.

i have try to avoid all the controversy and that's the reason i decided to have mine wet.

sorry if i put trouble in someone's head it's not my will to do so

You’re not putting anyone in trouble. If worried it should be done the way you like.

what I’m trying to explain is a scanned signature after done by ink is still a wet signature

so basically everybody did wet signature, what you did is sending the paper copies

Well I’m expecting a refusal so I may not have enough time or possibility to ask that :)

but i I really don’t see the need to even ask about this, in that post there’s direct link to uscis decision on this.

this is the first time i'm going through this process but on the question 3 i answer yes and it asked me to explain and i explain saying my fiance filed a fiance K1 visa petition on my behalf and i added the date.

am i wrong? please help

K1 is a non immigrant Visa not an immigrant visa as the question asks so you would answer "No" as long as no one else has petitioned for a different kind of immigrant Visa for you prior to your K1 application.

First of all, don't be silly.

And second I agree, but it would be nice to get some direct info on what CO's know about the new change.

thx dear friend.

by the way  i have a question regarding the case# NVC and stuff.

when NVC give you a case number for ex. in my case i have my daughter included so will it be two case # or just one  or how should i know if they really included my daughter in. or it's only at the embassy step  that she'll be really taken into action? of course she's well included in the petition. and now that i he the number how many days before left NVC mine is not electronic

thx

I have a problem with one of my documents. So I’m really expecting a refusal :)  has nothing to do with fiancé or anything but we just learnt about this and nothing can be done. So no hopes up here hehe.

if by chance I get lucky I’ll ask.
